Foldimate Announces National Laundry Folding Week to Promote Donations of Gently Worn Clothes to Families in Need.
Oak Park, California – (April 17, 2018) – FoldiMate Inc., the inventors of the robotic laundry folding machine are celebrating the seasonal change by announcing the week of April 16, 2018 as National Laundry Folding Week – aimed to inspire a nationwide rush of clothing donations for families in need.
FoldiMate announced the week of April 16- 23 as the official National Laundry Folding Week #NLFW. The company, along with various charity organizations across the U.S., is hoping to collect clothes for families in need by calling all Americans for their gently worn items that they no longer wear. Official charity organizations nationwide will be offering clothes-drop-off-spots across the U.S. where people can give away their donated clothing items.
“We’re really looking forward to leveraging our obsession with laundry folding for a good cause. We are looking to encourage everyone to keep in mind those who are less fortunate, and to support their community by donating their unwanted items to charity,” said FoldiMate founder & CEO, Gal Rozov.
The organizations that have joined forces with FoldiMate so far during National Laundry Folding Week 2018 are: Soles4Souls, Bottomless closet & BBBS Foundation. Full information on the drop-off spots can be found on the FoldiMate blog.
